Erectile dysfunction can be caused by a variety of factors. Some of the most common causes of erectile dysfunction include psychological problems such as stress, anxiety, depression and guilt, as well as high blood pressure, diabetes, being overweight, kidney and liver disease, and lack of sleep, among many others.
Psychological problems, such as stress, can leave a lasting effect on the male that they will be unable to create and hold an erection. Many new couples experience this when they come together for the first time. The man is so stressed on being perfect that it can lead to a failed sexual encounter. As a result, the penis never becomes fully erect or the erection last only moments. An encounter such as this one will not only ruin the night, but will leave the man feeling inadequate.
Exercise is a Must
In order to reduce the chances of have erectile dysfunction, a male should take the time to properly take care of their body. Regular exercise will help the flow of blood throughout the body, especially to the penis.
However, the male should also take time to perform several exercises on their penis. The first exercise, called kegel works out the muscle in the body that controls the ejaculation process. By strengthening this muscle, you can make your sexual experience longer and your ejaculations bigger and stronger.
The second exercise is used to enhance the presence of the penis. This is called jelqing and is accomplished my moving blood from the base of the penis to the head. This process will cause the tissues of the penis to expand, thereby allowing more blood into the penis when an erection occurs.
